Pages "Not Found" on OS X Server

I’m trying to get WordPress up and running on my OS X server and I keep running into a problem where if I change the permalinks away from the default, my pages (but not posts) are simply “not found.” I can’t make sense of it, given that it appears to not impact the posts but only the pages. Any help you can provide would be welcomed!
