Pages Not Found

  • I am now seeing 10’s of Pages not Found from the Same IP# and even though my options only allow 3 ‘Not Founds’ WF continues to allow these [various] unfound pages from the same IP#. This was not happening like this prior to the last update.

    Also, in my Blocked IPs now I’m seeing tons and tons of “Blank user agent” and hardly any Pages not founds…

    Definitely different behaviors being exhibited since the last update…

    Thanks for the reports. The dev team is working on the issue of 404’s not appearing correctly.

    Anna: The excess “not found” pages are probably related — if the visit isn’t being labeled that way in Wordfence, it would still be processed by the other filters, which is probably why the “blank user agent” visits are appearing more.

    Today’s release of version 6.0.17 should resume counting 404 Not Found pages correctly. If you have any trouble, let us know. Thanks!
