• I recently built a site for a client of mine. All was going good, the pages were working, I was adding plugins, everything. And then, I installed (and uninstalled, as it was too advanced) one called SEO ultimate. AFterward, my pages would not work, not even ones I created afterward. I get a 404 error everytime on every page, except on the homepage. I have no idea why it does this. I deactivated all of my plugins to no avail. I’ve even tried changing permalinks. Nothing works. Please help!

Changing the theme does not do a thing.

You could try changing the theme to Twenty Eleven Theme and see if the problem persists and try going back to Default permalinks to see if it would reset the whole system. It looks like the plugin has modified the saved paged names. You could do one more thing when you are in Twenty Eleven theme edit all your pages and titles and save them to try to force a ‘new’ title to be saved.

I do not know whether this will work but it may be worth giving it a try.
