Pages nested under a link permalink issue

First off, thanks for a great plugin. I’m really enjoying using it!

I’m attempting to nest pages under a link as seen in this support topic:
An empty page acting as a folder.

However this seems to break the permalink for the nested pages. For example if I nest my page ‘About’ under the link ‘Other pages’ when I go to edit the About page it’s permalink will display as ‘https://mysite.dev/other-pages/about/’. If I try and view this page with or without the ‘other-pages’ in the url it will result in a 404. If I save the About page it will lose the parent relationship and will display again but will no longer be nested in the Pages interface.

Is there anyway to get nesting under links to work with root level urls?
