• Hi again in… in the support forum.
The thing is, I don’t see why switching the theme would be relevant, I WILL still need to use this theme regardless. Everything worked just fine until installing Duplicate Post, so any problem that might be is from the plugin. I just want to go back to the way things were before installing. If you may assist me with that would be great. I don’t want to change themes, or drop other plugins which worked fine before.
    Thank you.

  • Switching temporarily to another theme could help to find where the problem is and fix it.
Have you tried to deactivate my plugin and even remove it, and see if the problems still happen?

Cannot switch theme as most of my website data is theme dependent (theme being customized in a very specific way) therefor I think if I switch themes I might lose all that data and settings.
I deactivate it and removed it and the problem persists.

I get this message when trying to add new page:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/concrete/public_html/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 581
I searched online and there are lots of people having this issue because of different plugins. None from yours, til now.

Same issue with the POSTS also. I have no options in the FORMAT TAB on the right and the same error message.
And strange enough, the existing posts if I try to view them or edit them they work fine, they have all tabs available.

If it’s still happening it’s really hard it could be caused by my plugin.
Are there any other plugin you can deactivate to see if they are responsible?

If everything works great and you do something I everything goes wrong from there is 100% because of the last thing you did so… that being said is most definetely from this plugin.
From what I read online this seem to be going to the long and tedious path of trial and error, which is a lot of time consuming and I really don’t have time now. I will re-upload my site from localhost and try to remember all modifications I did online… probably 3-4 hours of work.
That’s life you win some you lose some.
Anyway keep in mind this ISSUE your plugin has in this combination of Theme, plugins and WP version. Maybe I won’t be the last one messing up the things.
    Thanks for your quick reply.
    5* for support service.
    Cheers.

I’m sorry for the problems you’re experiencing.
The thing is, my plugin doesn’t make any modification which aren’t reverted when removed (it merely leave some configuration options in the DB). But I’ll try to find out if I can replicate the problem.

If it helps you, I use:
    – WP 4.1.1
    – Hotheme – Hotel Theme, customized with child theme for CSS styling, and PHP for removing featured images link to selfie, for gallery image size and style.
    – Plugins:
    Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
    Simple Custom Post Order
    Simple Image Sizes
    WP-Mail-SMTP
    WPFront Notification Bar
    WPFront Scroll Top
    WP Sitemap Page

If you can replicate the problem and find a solution I would be interested in it for future troubleshooting.
    Thanks.
