  • Are there any links that point to that page or other pages without the dashes? If there are, then you need to fix those links. if not, then you’re all fine and shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

    One thing that can help a lot like that is setting a canonical tag on each page. I have that on my sites through Yoast’s SEO plugin. That will make sure that each page points back to the single main page if there is an issue with URL’s like this.

    Thank you for your response. I do not have links that point to the page without dashes and I do have a canonical tag on each page. I am just concerned about having nothing to worry about because doesn’t it mean there is duplicate content if the page just reloads with my original content instead of a “Not Found” error?

    If you have that, then you don’t have anything to worry about. Google will use the canonical link to index the pages correctly. That’s what the is for – it tells the serach engine bots the correct URl that they shoudl be indexing, so they only index the right one.
