want to setup different pages.. like a photo page then just update links on that page… am i missing something, how do i work with pages, looked everywhere and can’t get a straight answer, hear the community was the best so thought I would try here! Thanks in advance

1.2.2 has some important fixes. No, you won’t be ruining your blog as unlike 1.5, it is a stable release, and not a beta.

The whole concept of pages is to use them for content that is “static” and basically unchanging, like a colophon, an “about me” page and the like. What you are talking about can already be done without using the pages structure. Pages were brought in because so many people wanted the ability to have a few pages on their site that didn’t require The Loop to display information.

The original poster of this thread may be looking for something like this to include in his pages so that he can “seamlessly” show gallery pages (or pages from some other application) in his WP pages:

Here are links to a couple css thumnail gallery methods that would be pretty easy to incorporate into a theme. This may not be a bells-and-whistles way of doing it, but it works and is easy to add to a theme simply by defining the html and css.

Is there a simple way to create a WP page that will pull all thumbnail files from a gallery directory and link them to the resized gallery pages?
