• Ive installed wordpress locally a few times and this is the first time ive seen this happen.
I created my pages and no matter what theme I upload all of the pages are displayed in the menu. I remove the menu’s ive created and they are still there… taunting me.
I created a menu with sub-menu hoping that it would overwrite it but no luck.
As I mentioned before, Ive never encountered this with previous installations.

Any had this happen to them?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

There are no active plugins (yet).
I tried switching to the twenty 11 theme but that is where i noticed that it did it to any theme!

Maybe it’s a corrupted database? Do you have another populated WP database that you could switch over to temporarily?

No, but I should be able to just create a new one correct?
Or do i need to make a new one and run the install from scratch?

    Re-run the install.
