Pages description publishing shortcodes

Hi,

itemprop=”description” and property=”og:description” meta content are both printing shortcodes I have in my pages. (I currently have Yoast handling the Twitter meta of the same pages, and the shortcodes are striped out of those descriptions).

Is there a way I can get this plugin to strip them out as well?
