Pages crawled per day decreasing (version 7.0.3)

    Dear Yoast support Team,

    I updated Yoast plugin version of 7.0.3 Release Date: March 12th, 2018. I notice Pages crawled per day decreasing my website.

    Kindly check and resolve this issue ASAP.

    The current Yoast SEO version is 7.2. We recommend you please update the plugin to the latest version to check whether this resolves the issue.

    I already use latest version of Yoast plugin but page crawling decreasing…….

    In this case, please make sure that you have submitted the XML sitemap to your Google Search Console property. If yes, please also make sure that you have a clean robots.txt file.

    If you have the XML sitemap and robots.txt crawl rules correct but the crawling rate is decreasing, this means your site doesn’t have enough quality inbound links, Google will not crawl your site very quickly. You can imagine it doesn’t necessarily want to spend much time on a site that it doesn’t deem important. When your site is brand new, this will be the case. Please, refer to our this article to learn more about this.
