• For some odd reason, if woocommerce plugin is turned on, it creates thousands of new pages on the site called “Product Comparison”. As soon as i turn off woocommerce it stops. But when I activate woocommerce It will create 1 new page about every 5 seconds. I am upgraded to wooocommerce 2.1.6 to see if it resolved the issue but it didnt. Here are is version info:

    WordPress: 3.8.1
    Woocommerce 2.1.6
    Theme: Bazar 2.2.1

    Here is an example: https://www.website.com/product-comparison-24/

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

  • Are these pages showing up in the ‘Pages’ admin area in your webiste, or are they only on the webiste itself? Are you running a caching plugin at all?

both in the pages section of the admin area and on frontend of the site too. I am not running any cache plugin.

I would send you to to the site but its not live yet, so you would need to edit your local hosts file to see the site.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I can’t say that I have any idea about that one. I have not seen Woocommerce do that before, so it’s completely new to me. my only suggestion is to check both the Woocommerce plugin and your themes settings, and verify anything that has anything to do with comparisons. Apart from that, I don’t know anything more about what’s happening there. Hopefully someone else might be able to shed some more light in the problem.

yeah, i looked into those settings and turned off anything related to the comparison feature. I have never seen this before either. My client is not a happy camper as the site was supposed to be live by now. Im hoping someone can help me out soon.
