    I transfered a site, everything looks great, but at the time to try to modify a page, when click update, the page appears incomplete. I had to go back on revisions to put it as before, that works to put it back with all info, but doesn’t allow me to modify still.

    Thxs in advance for response ?

    Anybody had this problem?

    Hi Rikkiblakk,

    If you fix the strange character issue by putting the following immediately after:

    define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘whatever’); // The name of the database
    define(‘DB_USER’, ‘whatever’); // Your MySQL username
    define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘whatever’); // …and password
    define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘mysql_whatever’); // …and the server MySQL is running on

    in your wp-config.php file (using FTP and BBedit or something similar) the problem should get fixed. It did for me…

    define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);
    define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);

    Thxs a lot for your response, [email protected],

    I had them checked, just have a doubt if “localhost” is the correct hostname, sent a message to provider if it is named different, at this time it shows localhost in my wp-config.php

    This warning appeared when making transition with Duplicator:

    The following is a list of warnings that may need to be fixed in order to finalize your setup. For more details about warnings see the wordpress codex..
    WP-CONFIG WARNING: The wp-config.php has one or more of these values “WP_CONTENT_DIR, WP_CONTENT_URL, WPCACHEHOME, COOKIE_DOMAIN, WP_SITEURL, WP_HOME, WP_TEMP_DIR” which may cause issues please validate these values by opening the file.

    Hey @rikkiblakk,

    If your working with international character sets then you may want to checkout this section on the FAQs I believe it may help with this issue:
    -> Browse to: https://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq
    -> Find section: “3. Troubleshoot=> How can I fix international characters issues?”

    As far as the other warning that appeared you will need to open the wp-config.php file and make sure all the values are correct for your current server.

    Hope that helps!
