Pages can’t be deleted and don’t show up in the page list

  • I tried a few online booking plugins today and after removing them, I noticed that I had two new pages from looking at the frontend of the site, namely “Events” and “scheduler-calendar”. I also noticed that neither of them show up in my page list in the admin CP.

    I tried the trick to recreate each page and deleting it but it didn’t work with either of them, in fact, it created a second “Events” page that also doesn’t show up in the page list.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • hmm..sounds like the plugin may not have removed it’s tables in the database when you deactivated them
    log in to your host’s phpmyadmin and click on the wp database
    look for the tables the booking plugin may have created
    you can “browse” the tables and delete the pages or check mark the tables and “drop” them from the menu at bottom of page

    always back up database before making changes
