• Since version 2.0.14 (I’m not quite sure) I can’t create/save/update any theme settings (Astra, Twenty Twenty, Neve) and pages with an activated plugin. It also prevents the import of WordPress templates (starter sites).
I run 5 WordPress websites, 4 of which use this great plugin. If I deactivate the plugin, everything works again.
When saving, there is a red error message at the top of the web page that is currently open. The error can be reproduced on all WordPress installations.

@bytes4fun This should be posted in the forums and asked for assistance, not a 2 star review… Please provide the error message you are getting so I may further assist you. No information means no solution.

I posted my problem in the support forum. My post was kindly declared as spam there…
Regarding your 2-star statement: If a car didn’t have a steering wheel, how many stars would you give it?
I’ve loved your plugin so far, but right now it’s useless to me without warning.
Regarding your questions: I use Astra, Neve and Twenty Twenty.
I always work with the current WordPress version (currently 6.1.1).

@bytes4fun Your post is in the support forums was posted 4 hours ago (7AM for me), your review was then posted shortly after (roughly 8AM). I do not sit down at my desk for work until 9AM. I am on central time in America. I develop this plugin alone with no assistance, and it is free of charge to everyone that wants to use it. If you are unhappy with it, go use Yoast, All In One SEO, Ranked Math, etc. Please pay their Pro prices and support them.

There are likely to be issues regardless of how many people are working on a plugin. And I do my best to address these in a timely manner, but my health, and sleep are important. Patience is a virtue.

Hi David, thanks for the quick reply and for fixing the error. I’ll give you back the 5 stars for your awesome plugin and in return I’ll help translate Simple SEO.
I didn’t mean to upset you either. With my last error message about another plugin, the programmer dealt with my hint in a completely different way. He was grateful. Finally, I prevented users from immediately uninstalling your work again because it didn’t work.
In the end win-win. Keep it up! I stay true to you ??
