site origin: gallery layout issue

I recently updated the Sela theme and now all galleries I previously built and try to build with site origin do not display the correct layout. If I select a certain number of columns, the thumbnails will arrange in one less column than the specified amount, with the remaining image in the row below, followed by the same pattern for the rest of the gallery.

I can’t revert to editor because my pages have layouts that can not be created without site origin.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could offer some solutions/alternative options. Thanks
