You need to add the scope.
scope=”future”.

That will prevent past events form being taken into the shortcode output.

We have a similar need to display locations for future events only.

Adding scope-“future” to the location shortcode should do it, correct?

Hi Patrick,
I inserted the “scope”, but it don’t seems to work with the [events_calendar] shortcode (see the note at the bottom of the page: https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/shortcodes/).

Also tried the “year”, but it don’t work too; pages of the past years are generated anyway.
