I’ve set up Dynamic Caching in the SG Optimizer plugin, but for some reason it seems not to be working.
When I use the “Test URL’s”, I get “The URL is not cached” on all my pages.
    Any ideas why this happens?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @ensemblet,

There is a session set upon page visit (without any logged visitor). Our plugin is not caching pages with active sessions.

You need to find which plugin is spawning the session and disable it. Once this is completed the page should be cached properly.

    Best regards,
    Elena

Thanks, Elena, for a quick answer.
I’ll do as you suggest and let you know about my findings.
    Kind regards!

I’ve now tried deactivating all plugins (except SG Optimizer…), but dynamic caching still doesn’t work.
I’ve also tried deleting SG Optmizer and then reinstall it again, but this didn’t solve the issue either.
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

You have WP Rocket which does not play well with our caching systems. Disable it completely and remove all leftover code in wp-config.php and .htaccess file if any. Then check with your developer what is opening the PHPSESSID on each hit basically telling our Dynamic caching not to cache. It is not a SG Optimizer problem, the caching system does what it is supposed to do.

Thank you, Hristo, for a more detailed answer!
Yes, I installed WP Rocket since my last comment, because I needed som caching, and I didn’t expect further answer from you, since nothing happened for a couple of days.
Nevermind, I’ll try and do as you suggest, and see if I can find the reason for the problems.
I will let you know about my findings, but please give me some days in a busy schedule;-)
    Thanks again!

    Hi again, Hristo.
Just to let you know – and others who might be interested: it was the plugin “Profile Press” that placed the cookie.
    Now it’s gone;-)
    Thanks for your help!
