• Greetings….do you have a link to your site? Sounds like something is breaking the layout.

Hi, here is the link : https://encompagniedeschiens.ca/Michel/

I do have a slideshow. I’m with the lite version. Can that be it?

    Thanks a lot ??

Oh, I’m i’m building the site. You might have problems log loggin in. Anyways, you’ll see a place where it is written TEST “THIS IS A HOME PAGE TEXT WIDGET .THIS IS A HOME PAGE TEXT WIDGET .THIS IS A HOME PAGE TEXT WIDGET .THIS IS A HOME PAGE TEXT WIDGET .THIS IS A HOME PAGE TEXT WIDGET .THIS IS A HOME PAGE TEXT WIDGET .” It is suppose to stay on my home page and not to be publish on other pages.

    Thanks.

I must say I activated another theme, did not change anything and everything works. The Circumference theme is now back for you to have a look…

After working on my site, the home page content is now posting on every page… with the page I chosen information… :-S

Thanks for the link… OK, I checked your site out, but I’m still not sure what you mean by content at the bottom…although I did go to your “Services” page and noticed there is a big gap between your top part and the page content near the bottom. Is this what you were referring to? If so, this is what I see in your Services page source code:

That is a LOT of empty paragraphs being put into your page which created the big empty space.

Main problem : the content of my home page is appearing on… every page ! The slide show, the dog picture… I am working on building the site; don’t look at the gaps and everything… I’ll fix that later. Btw, I’ve checked with another basic theme and everything is ok… :-/

Ah! Now I know. This is because this content you are referring to are widgets, and this theme has widget positions available on every page and blog post page (basically on everything). WordPress by default will show the widget on every page the widget position exists on. How you manage this is to use a plugin like Display Widgets to publish and show the widget(s) on select pages only. This is what you want ??

If you use Jetpack, it has it’s own built-in widget visibility feature, otherwise I would check out Display Widgets.

Thanks… I’ll try this! Just downloaded and activated the plug-in… but it won’t show in my widget area. WP is telling it wasn’t tested with the 3.9.1 I have. Can that be the problem? Thanks A LOT!

Everything is now working A1 ??

    Thanks a lot ??
