Pages and Posts swapped

  • I have a major problem with wordpress taking pages for posts and posts for pages…strange! The first few days everything works well, then all of a sudden things change, even when i use the 2010 theme.
    The comments template only show on the pages and not posts, also the share button will not show on posts but on pages.

    This has happened since i upgraded to v3.0

    I would appreciate any help.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
