Pages and Pingback/Trackback

I published a page the other day that was linked to by someone using Blogger. I would have expected a trackback but I never received one (I have it enabled in my WP configuration). I will assume the Blogger set up allowed for pingbacks and trackbacks but I’m not certain.
Additional reading indicates WP 2.0.x did not support trackbacks for pages. Is it supported in the 2.1.x?
