pages and passwords

I know how to password protect a page. Then there is one password to be shared by all users.

Is there a way (plugin?) that I can protect a page and then edit a user so that they have access to that page? I’ve a site for a group. I want a page with contact info (including some children) and I don’t want a single password. I want to be able to assign access on a user by user basis. Possibly being able to have three pages (say: staff, adults, children) and have definable access to each page.

That way the users never see or have to deal with a password.
