• Hi,

I’m using the transposh plugin and it really works nice except that my linking in pages goes back to deafult language.

If you check https://www.meetcon.webhjelp.net/ you’ll find the widget in the footer.
When I click on the english flag it “transform” into english translatet version. Then the headermeny works fine with the linking. But if i for example goes to https://www.meetcon.webhjelp.net/meetcon-in-moterom-hd?lang=en and klick on one of the links inside that page it goes back to deafult language (norwegian).

I doesnt want my visitor to have change to english everytime the klick on a sublink.

    What should I do?

    Best regards, Joakim

    Hello There,

This should not happen, maybe the home_url for your site is not properly defined, contact me directly at transposh.org if you want this debugged, you can also use the debug version and check the rewrite_url function.

    Good luck

    Hi again,

I emailed you via transposh.org but didnt get an answer.
What do you mean with “maybe the home_url for your site is not properly defined”?
    How do I check this?

And where do I find the debug version?

    Best regards, Joakim

    Hello Joakim,

    Debug version:
    https://trac.transposh.org/wiki/DevelopmentVersion

I was on vacation so I could not get back to you, but anyhow there is a single function that is responsible for rewriting urls, it relies on a home_url variable it calculates to do the proper rewriting, some installations (those that changed urls with .htaccess rules for example) might have some problems, although this is the first report that I actually verified.

I will also send you this reply directly, so don’t hesitate to work with me on solving this,

    Good luck
