Pagelines feature problem

  • I am currently editing a site called the Global Water Forum and the front page is using the pagelines feature slider.

    Each week a new article is added to the site and a photo added to the feature slider.

    However, each week there are problems with the formatting of the picture and as a result the feature slider looks a mess.

    Could anyone please suggest a method of fixing this up?

    My ideas would be:

    1. Get a new slider which has dimensions for pictures around 800X600.
    2. Resize the existing slider – although I fear this would leave a white whole in the front page.
    3. ???

    Any help you be really really great as this is something which is really frustrating me.
