ok, i have updated this blog post:

i added 2 videos:

* it appears this is using lyte plugin, but the tumbnail is ugly

this doesn’t show a video at all, but i don’t mind if the first is working correctly.

please advise

deactive “cache thumbnails locally” and things should be OK ??

if you want to use local thumbnails you’ll have to enable the code snippet you can fine here which will allow the bypassing of a Cloudways quirk (I’m guessing you’re hosted there as well).

if it works, then it was cache related issue on my side, if it doesn’t work, then its bug on youtube lyte

yep, works for me;

google search console, reports a warning for the images in amp mode, that they are smaller than the recommended size (talking about the youtube lyte produced images)

when in AMP you’re not seeing/ using LYTE saveatrain ??

but now we started getting from google search console comments on the videos not containing:
Missing field “thumbnailUrl”
Missing field “name”
Missing field “description”
Missing field “uploadDate”

is this related to your plugin perhaps?
