paged links with wp_pagenavi() not translated

    hello all,

    i use wp_pagenavi() to create a paged view.
    a paged link looks like this:
    https://url.org/movies/page/2
    on this page i show in the top navigation bar also a language switcher-button. this button should link to the english page 2 version which in this case is:
    https://url.org/en/movies/page/2

    however the language switcher just links to:
    https://url.org/en/movies

    how can i make the language switcher link to the correct page?
