Paged Format Option in Search Appearance

    Hey,

    I have tried to use Paged Format option in Search Appearance to add page numbers to the Title and Meta Description on the paginated pages.

    The page number is missing in the Meta Description.

    The description of the option says:
    “This string gets appended to the titles and descriptions of paginated pages (like term or archive pages).”

    Can you please assist me with this?

    Hi @reminaizer,

    Can you please go to All in One SEO > General Settings > Advanced and let me know if you’re seeing a toggle called Autogenerate Descriptions and if that’s enabled?

    If that toggle is present and disabled, can you please enable it and let me know if that fixes the issue?

    Hey @shivamtyagi
    I do not see that option. I am using Free Version 4.3.4.1
    I found https://aioseo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/advanced-settings.png, but I do not see that in All in One SEO → General Settings → Advanced.

    Hi @reminaizer,

    It is a deprecated setting only available for users who migrated from v3. It looks like you did not migrate from v3 and therefore the setting is not present, which is completely normal.

    With regards to the Paged Format Option issue, could you please check for any plugin or theme conflicts by following these steps:

    1. Go to Plugins > Add New and install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click on Troubleshoot below the All in One SEO plugin – This will temporarily disable all the plugins and switch to a default theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
    3. See if you’re able to reproduce the issue. If not, activate your theme and check again.
    4. If you’re still unable to replicate the issue, activate the plugins one by one and simultaneously check if the problem persists.
    5. Once you’re done troubleshooting, deactivate and delete the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
