    Hi there,
I just want to mention that I had issues with some of my published pages suddenly appearing with a _trashed in the permalink. I looked in the forum and found a few threads. First I thought it was caused by the Event Organiser plugin but that wasn’t the case.

On the affected pages, I went in a checked any links (external or internally) which I corrected or deleted if needed and that solved the problem.

But for some reason, I am unable to delete the Event Organiser plugin I am not using. I have deleted pages I have created when testing it.
    Regards
    Lisbeth

  • You should be able to rename that plugin’s directory via FTP or the File manager which will force it to disable and then you should be able to delete it the same way if you really want to delete that plugin.

Sometimes renaming the plugin forces it to disable even though you think it is disabled already and then you should be able to delete it from the plugins admin page.

Thank you, I will give it a go.

Thank you, it worked. There was another folder associated with that plugin I deleted and after renaming the plugins directory I was able to delete in the Plugin admin page. Thank you again.
