unfortunately still getting the same error. my code is:

setup the permalink structure properly and add this “wp_reset_query();” after this “endwhile;”

hmm not sure what you mean wprock, set up the permalink structure properly??

Try using:

query_posts( array ( 'category_name' => 'public-buildings', 'posts_per_page' => 1, 'paged' => $paged ) );?>

category_name uses the category slug NOT the category title.

what does work is if i type in the link:

https://www.ivanjordan.com/category/public-buildings/page/2/

is that how it should look when the link is clicked rather than

https://www.ivanjordan.com/public-buildings/page/2/ which is what it’s trying to find at the moment?
