/page/2/ duplicating home page

  • Hi ,
    I was running Screaming frog to test my website for SEO errors.

    It shows that there is duplicate content on a page that I have not created , its : page/2/.

    this page isn’t listed in my pages or in my trash bin so I have no idea why it is duplicating the home page and putting it there as well.

    Can anyone advise? Many thanks

    Try to use different crawlers, and check the results against screaming frog

    /page/2, /page/3 are automatically added to your WordPress blog. This is a core feature. You can set these to be not indexed by crawlers by using any SEO plugins like Yoast SEO.

    What a odd feature to include in the core structure , to duplicate the homepage. Found the setting in Yoast , thank you. Will it hurt to seo redirect the page 2 back to the homepage as well or will that screw anything up ? Ta
