Page with {{wp-favorite-posts}} not working

  • This plugin is not working for me. On my page with the {{wp-favorite-posts}} code I get the following up in the top of the header of my site:

    FavoriteClear favorites

" />

    or this if I am not logged in:

    Clear favorites
Your favorite posts saved to your browsers cookies. If you clear cookies also favorite posts will be deleted.
" />

    And none of my posts are being bookmarked or favorited.
