Page with sidebar

  • Hi,
    When creating the blog section, I see no option to enable sidebar on my page.
    ?How can I add sidebar support to this template?

    I want the typical blog sidebar to display only on my /blog page and on every blog post article.

    Can you help me?

  • Hi @humaniza,
    There is not predefined layout with sidebar in this theme. It means you may get this only by installing the Child theme and overriding files and styles to add new widget area.
    We have added this request to our list of features and probably we will be able to offer some solution later.

    As a workaround, you may add use blog page as static custom page (without selecting it at Settings Reading). Thus you may add Column block to the blog page 1 column wider for Custom Post Type block in order to list your posts. And another column for sidebar where you may add different blocks, widgets.
    You may also select all the blocks in column 2 and add them to re-usable blocks. So you will be able to apply it easily on your posts in column 2.
