Page with gallery won't load with plugin active

    Running WordPress 3.6 with a Comdex template using the latest version. When the plugin is activated, my Gallery with links to WP hosted PDFs will not load. It just goes pending and pending forever, eventually to a 500 error.

    If I disable the plugin, the gallery site loads just fine, but the photos link to the image permalink URL. Any ideas? Really want to use a Gallery to link to PDF since Gallery lets us change the column # and randomize the images. There’s just 4 sample photos up now, but we plan on having a bunch more once it goes live (plugin currently disabled):

    Edit: I also rolled back to 1.8.0 since 2 people voted it worked with 3.6 and that also failed to work. Is it a theme issue? Can I not link to PDFs in Gallery, even with this plugin? Thanks for any help.

  • Hm, what happens if you activate the plugin and try to load a gallery with no custom-linked images in it? Also, do you know what version of php you’re running, and what the error log reads for that 500 error?

    I re-activated the plugin and left the Gallery Link URL for the images blank and the page eventually did load, but it took an extraordinary amount of time to do so. Our website host is sometimes spotty, but I tried a few more times and it still took a very long time to load. Over a minute, maybe two. I can look into the version and error info.
