I love Tracks theme, so thank you for the easy usability!
My page width has recently changed so that there is a lot of space on either side of the main content. This has screwed up my effective width on my pictures. Now pictures that used to lay side by side are too large and no longer lay side by side. Did I do something to mess up my width? And is there a way to lock pictures so that even if the width changes they will stay the same proportion?
    Thank you!

    Thanks for using Tracks!

Did you previously add any CSS to change the width of the content? Or, is there anything else about your site that may have changed recently?

As an aside, a very stable solution for image formatting within posts is to use WordPress’ built-in gallery tool. It may be a great solution for adding images in your posts.

I haven’t updated anything on my site since last Wednesday, and this just started happening today. I can’t think of what could be the reason…
And for the gallery tool, isn’t that more applicable for large groups of images? Most of mine are no more than two images in a space.
    Thanks!

Okay, there is nothing apparently wrong with the images, so I don’t know what would have allowed them to sit side-by-side previously. I would suggest using galleries to avoid issues like this.

Galleries can work well even for just two images and they are quick to make. Sometimes the WordPress post editor will add and remove markup from your post, but using a Gallery will guarantee the images are contained in the same structure on each page.

The default gallery styles will work well, but many users like the Jetpack plugin for it’s stylish Tiled gallery module.
