• I have set up anchors and links in a table.
When a user clicks on the link, I would like the item to centralise on the page rather than be at the top.
I feel this is bacause the text is lower than the image but I cannot seem to get the text to move to the top of the cell.
    How can I fix please.?
    I am a relative novice.
    Thanks
    Brian

  • The link will jump to whatever you’re anchoring it to.

And since you’re anchoring to the text, it’s working perfected as designed.

I don’t know what you’re using to build the page (it doesn’t seem like you’re using the default WordPress block builder). But see if you can create the anchors to the image or even the table row containing the image and text, and not to the text as you’re doing now.

Many thanks George. You have given me ideas I can work with.
I am using the Classic Editor as I am not familiar with the Block editor.
