Page upload timing out

  • I’ve created a new page, which uploads fine. I added some body text, and it uploaded OK. However, every time I try and add more text, it times out.

    Now, I’m not talking a novel here – about 140 words and it’s timing out.

    Anybody know why?

    Also, What browser are you using?
    Does it behave the same if you use a different browser?

    The rest of the site seems to be running fine. I’ve tried it on both Firefox 6 and IE8, and both behave the same.

    If i have just a small amount of text in the page, it uploads ok. When I have more text, it times out. Very strange.

    can you post a link?

    What plugins do you have ?

    It sounds like your system is maxing out the POST request or there is a plugin that is taking forever.
