• Hello,
Whenever I update a page after editing, the line spacing doubles, so I have to keep re-editing the page and deleting spaces to bring the lines of text together again!!
    Can you help?

  • Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Are you copying & pasting content into WordPress from elsewhere?

    Thank you.
    I can be clearer!
Whenever I update a page ” ” is added. I think it doubles up (2 spaces become 4 spaces become 8 spaces etc etc)
It reaches the point where the page is so large that it cannot load!!

I totally understand this issue. Happens to me , too, even if I use the HTML tab. I have no plugins activated and it still happens. I don’t believe that is the problem. It is very frustrating and can take up valuable work time. And I always copy and paste plain text.

    Hello,
I solved this by de-activating the plug in. (ultimate tiny MCE)
    Thanks,

    Adrian.
