I have two WP sites – One for trying things out and the other the “real” one.
On my trying things out site, I have the Google Translate widget installed, which works fine. However that’s not available, under widgets, on my other site which has the Twenty Seventeen theme.
So I thought I’d try a plugin, but most don’t seem to do what I wont in that they appear to just give me the option to change the language, rather than a site visitor translating the page as they want.
Others want me to put the installation files into a folder – Looking in my dashboard I don’t see an option to do that (but maybe I misunderstand what they mean, as I am new to WordPress).
I suppose I could try a different theme, but a) I don’t know which ones have the Google Translate widget and b) I’m happy how my site looks under the Twenty Seventeen theme.
Is there a way around this? Is there a plugin that I can use to allow users to translate pages as they wish that installs like other plug ins?
    Thanks
