Page to page links

I’m trying to use WP as a PhotoBlog and want to display one picture per page and one page at a time and then have links to the previous or next page. When I set this up the direction words “previous” and “next” appear at the bottom of the picture and I want them at the top. For some reason I can’t find where they are to move. Using a modified version of Whitespace 1 by Brian Gardener which doesn’t seem to have any provision for this happening so I assume these words come from WP and are modified by the Whitespace CSS. Can anyone tell me where to find them? Sorry if this seems a basic question but I’m at a very basic level for blogs. Blog can be found at https://www.dennistonphoto.com/BBlog.
