Page Titles Overwritten

  • We are using a Woo eCommerce Template and it seems to be overwriting what I put in Yoast WordPress SEO Title on the individual pages.

    It is adding PRODUCT ARCHIVES or ARCHIVES in some of the SEO Titles. It is not doing this to all the SEO Titles. Just some pages.

    The browser title should say SHOP (as I put in the SEO) – not Product Archives

    The browser title should say Bowls and Platters (as I put in the SEO) – not Bowls and Platters Archives

    I have the Yoast settings to “force rewrite titles” but it is still doing it (I unchecked it to see if it changed and it did not.)

    It is only happening on the main SHOP and Product List pages.
    All the other pages are displaying the SEO Titles properly with no “Archive” added.

    All helpful suggestions welcome!
