Page title tag has encoded apostrophe

Our site name includes an apostrophe. For example, Jim’s site. When we first display a month view, the page <title> tag is Upcoming Events – Jim’s site. So far so good.

Then I use the datepicker to navigate to another month (say February 2020).

Now the page <title> tag is Events for February 2020 – Jim& #039;s site. I’ve had to put spaces between the ampersand and the codes here so that it shows as such.

How do I stop the apostrophe being encoded like that? Apart from changing the site name, that is ??

I’ve looked through the available filters but can’t see one that includes the site name, so I need a bit of help.
