• Hi. What’s the difference between Default template, Elementor Canvas, Elementor Full Width and Landing page? Also, why does a custom Elementor header, after setting the page’s Header style to “custom” and Template – to the desired Elementor header, appear only when the template is set to “Default template”?
    Thanks.

  • Hi,

The custom Header template option in the theme builder is a feature of Elementor Pro.

If you are using our Pro features on your website, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com.

www.remarpro.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

I’m not using Elementor Pro, I made the header from Theme Panel > My Library > Add New. After setting the theme’s header to “Custom”, I go to any page and choose Header > Custom > “my header”. It works, what I’m asking is:
    1) Why does the custom header (from My Library) appear on the page only when the page i set to Default template or Elementor Full Width and not to Elementor Canvas?
    2) In connection to Q. 1) – what is the difference between the different page template options?

    Hi,

The purpose of our Canvas template is to show a blank page and using Elementor content only, by removing the custom header/footer/sidebars coming from your theme/custom template.

You can read more about our Canvas template here:
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/315-using-elementor-s-canvas-page-template

    Regarding your second question,

The Default Template option will show your default theme layout with Elementor using the same width as your theme.

The Canvas Template will remove your header/footer and sidebar’s from your page and show only Elementor content.

The Elementor Full-Width template allows you to override the default page width and use a full-width design on any theme.
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/316-using-elementor-s-full-width-page-template

I hope this information helped you.
