• Hi.

I don’t know if this is a default WordPress feature, but I guess it is: In my WordPress installation, when I create a static page, there is a “Page Meta” block where I have two options: Page Options and Sidebar Options.

In “Page Options”, there is an input block for “subtitle (Add Small title for Pages.)”.

That Subtitle appears in my theme on every page. The problem is that is it not being translated:

If I add a subtitle for the Spanish page, then, whenever I add an English trnaslation and change that field in the English version, then the Spanish version switches to the English one.

If I correct the Spanish version, then the English one gets spoiled (with the subtitle shown in Spanish)

How can we correct that issue?

    Big thank you!!

  • No that’s not coming with WordPress but most probably with your theme.
Please uncheck the synchronization for custom fields in Polylang settings.

    Beautiful, man. Thank you!

Now, I’m having another little problem:

Many of the files (images and so on) are added by plugins or the them as relative paths.

When I see the website in Spanish (default language), everything goes right, but when I change to English, a “/home/ is added after the domain and before the rest of the path. The images are not shown ??
