Page Speed Issue

  • Dear Support Team,

    I like the functionality of your plugin. However, it has a detrimental effect on my page load speed. The loading of the external font awesome library is render blocking and takes about 700 ms.

    I already am loading FA locally so there would be no need to load it again.

    Is there an option to remove this external loading or defer/async it so that it wont be render blocking anymore?

    Hi,

    Currently the plugin does not support this; however I think it’s a good idea and will add it when I have time. Leaving this issue open until I add this feature; I will let you know here when that is.
