for the render-blocking CSS; have a look at the “inline & defer CSS”-option, see the AO FAQ for more info.

for the “passive listeners”; Autoptimize combines your theme, plugin & wordpress core JS into one file, the “passive listener” is in one of those. retest with ?ao_noptimize=1 added to the URL to see results without AO at which time you’ll be able to identify the culprits & contact the developers of those.

    hope this helps,
    frank

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply
When i test woth ?ao_noptimize=1 option I get 91/98 when it was previously 87/95
    and have the following warnings

    Eliminate render-blocking resources – 2 urls
    autoptimize/autoptimize_e98b949….php & useanyfont plugin

Does not use passive listeners to improve scrolling performance = only 2
    …autoptimize/autoptimize_29fc958….php:2:586(
    …autoptimize/autoptimize_29fc958….php:2:1025(

Serve static assets with an efficient cache policy 4 resources found
    …autoptimize/autoptimize_e98b949….php
    …autoptimize/autoptimize_29fc958….php
and the other 2 are ads

in that case ?ao_noptimize=1 isn’t working for you, as you still have references to autoptimize_xyz123.php file, in that case you’ll have to disable AO for a second to re-test.

    ?? yes.
But I do not want to disturb my settings – i think they work well as it is, excpet for these recommendations.
if i check on a staging site would it be the same ?

sure, as that should be almost identical to your live site ??
