Page speed insight score is getting affected

  • Hello,
    I want to appreciate this plugin to provide the features and all for free. Kudos to the developer, but the issue I am facing is that my page speed insight scores on mobile is getting affected a lot.
    The page speed insight scores are dropping from the 90s to 60s after using any of the blocks from this plugin. Is there something I am doing wrong or is it natural?
    I have used other post block plugins and did not face such a drastic drop.

    Thanks for your nice feedback ?? .
    Here are tips on how you can optimize using Gutentor.

    • From Dashboard => Gutentor => Optimization
    • Try File options on Dynamic CSS Options
    • Checked the option Load single optimized css for post/page
    • Try different options, after changing the Optimization option resave the page/post and test. It should improve the score.

    Hello @codersantosh , is there a reason for this option to be disabled by default? I mean, are there scenarios it won’t optimize or may reduce performance?

    I’m asking because I’ve tested and for me it did not improve. In fact a few runs returned lower score.

    Hello @krzd7 ,

    After the setting Gutentor creates a single CSS file for a page/post of only used blocks. In some cases, if the server is not able to create the file it loads default CSS files. In this case, Speed may not increase.
