page shortcode not working

    Hi again – I resolved my last Q myself, but I have another if I may…

    The shortcode for billing is not working.
    I’ve set it on a page as a shortcode field, but it just shows the shortcode as plain text.
    Have tried in different areas as shortcode items, but still doesnt pull anything through.

    Have also connected with Stripe and in test mode. Using false payment number to change me membership type to test the process, it took me through to the member-billing url where i can edit card details etc. But still no shortcode is working.
    I’ve also tried using membership_billing copying the url format to see if that worked, but it didnt unfortunately.

    Could you help please?

    hmm the page url still works, even though when i edit the page, the shortcode doesnt pull through and just displays text.

    I am thinking this is because its sensitive data, the shortcode is configured to only display payment info direct to current user following the specific link within the member account main page, and not display anything (even my own logged in user payment info) in any other place on the site, such as edit page, use as a shortcode elsewhere, etc. Is this correct?

    If so, once more its been solved. But please confirm ??

    Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

    The membership billing information page should show a form to update credit card information if you hold a subscription (recurring) membership level.

    It should not show the shortcode as plain text, please can you ensure you have entered it as a shortcode and not as HTML within the Block Editor or page builder.

    While editing the page, it should show the text of the shortcode but when viewing it – it should render and adjust the shortcode to either a form to update or a message.
