I’m trying to update the Page setup so that WooCommerce knows where to send users to checkout.Currently the Page setup at WooCommerce> Settings>Advanced> Page setup is as follows:

    Cart page: Cart
    Checkout page: Shop
    My Account page: My account
Terms and conditions: Terms and Conditions

Is there anyone out there who can help me how I should update this page?

    Regards,

    Obert

You have to select the page with the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode

    Hello braehler,

Can you please elaborate? How do I select the page with the shortcode?

    Hello braehler,

I was able to select the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode, the [woocommerce_my_account]shortcode but I could not select the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode. The system does not give this option.

    Regards,

    Obert

If there is no page with the shortcode, you have to create one. Just give it a name you like and insert the shortcode there.
Then resave your permalinks and choose the page in the Woocommerce options

I’m still getting the following message when I click on my checkout page:
This page could not be found!
We are sorry. But the page you are looking for is not available.
Perhaps you can try a new search.

How do I get it right?

    Hi there,

WooCommerce provides a wizard to reinstall the pages. Try: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/#section-1

    Afterwards regenerate your permalinks.

    1. Make a full backup, before you do anything.
    2. Go to General > Permalinks
    3. Whatever your settings are, select a different permalink option and hit Save. Be careful: if you have a custom option, you must save the info entered there manually. It will be gone if you save different options.
    4. After they have successfully changed, revert to your old settings and hit Save again. This rewrites the permalink structure to your database, eliminating corrupt or faulty entries in the process.

    Does that change anything?

    Hi @obertholl

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
