Page Schema Format Issue

    Hello Team,

    As we checked the schema in the latest plugin where we are seeing the custom-post type slug URL https://www.vettechcolleges.com/postblog in the itemListElement attribute under position 1 which should be no display. There is also not any setting or any hook/filter available related to it. Can you please the solution/suggestion related to it?

    Hello Tejas,

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your page schema, though the issue is not clear. I ran the URL, https://www.vettechcolleges.com/blog/top-animal-behavior-psychology-programs through the Rich result test and there are no warnings/errors. See image.

    Can you please explain the issue better? Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Actually, my concern is https://www.vettechcolleges.com/blog is the parent page. But if you will see the breadcrumb schema, there is in the itemListElement at the position 1 the URL is displaying is the Blog Custom Post type slug URL & it should be not there because there is no meaning to display it as it’s hidden from the site.

    We know the tool is giving not any error but the following code should not be there which is displaying under the breadcrumb schema.

    We are not getting any idea why the registered slug URL is displaying in Schema.

    Please let us know the solution on it whether it is possible to remove it or not? If yes then what will be the way?

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Indeed, running the URL through the Google rich result test, there are no errors/warnings. But the issue is a bit confusing. Could it be that you selected another page https://www.vettechcolleges.com/postblog as the Blog page in WordPress > Settings > Reading instead of https://www.vettechcolleges.com/blog?

    Also, it seems that you have a third-party plugin Breadcrumb NavXT for your breadcrumb/navigayion which may be causing a conflict.

    Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

    Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
