• We have a company WP site and then there is a test site. On the test site, I was asked to add some CSS to beef up the look of a page. I added the code and then added it to the page. I published it and it works great.

I was then asked to go to the live public site and do the exact same thing. Added the code, created a new page, did everything with this page and published it. When I viewed the page live, I can see everything that’s supposed to be happening on this new page. But when I sent the URL to look at it, the changes are not showing up for him.

Puzzled, I then opened my browser in incognito mode and sure enough, the changes I made aren’t not showing up.

This happened weeks ago and we’re still stumped as to what the problem is. Obviously the server has cycled through do it doesn’t seem to be a cache problem.

    Any help is appreciated.

to assist volunteers on this forum to understand situation:

    • what is the exact CSS that you added but is working / showing properly?
    • where did you add the new CSS?
    • can you share the version of the test site page that is working?

    LINK TO WP VIDEO

OK I made a walk through video that shows the issue. Link is below. Bottom line is the CSS is a very simple tooltip CSS.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks for the detailed video.

Based on the video – I feel like the incognito product page is not just missing the tool tip. While the 2 product page urls in the video seem to be the same on both examples you shared, items seem different for other text too. i.e. I don’t see the product variations for incognito but variations are displayed in your video on the “page showing the tool tip”

Does the tool tip work when used on any other product pages?

I did notice a small difference in URLs in the video-not sure if that would have an impact or if I was mis-reading the text in the video (www vs non-www)
