Hi! I would like to know if it is possible to disable Elementor’s automatic preview while editing pages. On my computer the browser is running very slow during editing and because of this it is painful to edit the pages, because the preview is done after each typed character, which makes it take me several minutes to make small changes on the site. Wouldn’t it be possible to have a button to refresh the page preview only when I wanted to? Maybe that way I can make the changes on the left side more quickly and update them in the preview after clicking the button.

    Hello,

Unfortunately since elementor is a live editor there is not way to disable the live preview as you edit the site. However, it is not common for a website to struggle when you are simply making changes on a page that has already been loaded, you may want to reachout to your hosting provider and ask to increase your websites resources so that it loads more quickly.

    Best regards,

I understand. But many times the refresh rate is too high, making the page preview reloading again, again and again, while I am just trying to type a single letter… Does this setting could be tweaked at least?

Also, after some time the browser gets slower and slower, consuming more and more memory until it crashes completely. This has nothing to do with the server as it is something that happens on the client.
